PERSONAL PROTECTION ORDER IN SINGAPORE
Do you need a lawyer to represent you in a Personal Protection Order (“PPO”) trial?
Personal Protection Order applications may result in a trial that is heard before a Magistrate or a District Judge in Family Court. Domestic violence is a thorny subject and the relevant parties will have to adduce evidence in court to prove their respective cases.
We charge $150 for a 45 to 60 minute consultation regarding the legal merits of your matter, regardless of whether you are the Complainant or Respondent. This will be a thorough consultation where we go through your case with you in detail.
During our consultation, we won't be rushing through the session to
get you to sign an engagement letter. We believe in explaining the
entire personal protection order procedure in Singapore as well as
analyzing your family situation so that we can provide you with a
bespoke solution.
Subsequently, if you choose to engage us to represent you in your PPO proceedings, this consultation fee will also be set off against the fees chargeable for the matter.
PPO proceedings can resolve at many stages prior to trial. We offer fixed-fee packages depending on the complexity of the matter and the number of incidents highlighted in the Complaint Form.

- During your consultation, we will require you to bring:-
- Copy of the Complaint Form (if available);
- Copies of the NRICs of relevant parties;
- Relevant evidence for the PPO proceedings (Photos, Videos, Audio, Medical reports, Police reports, etc)
- Please book your appointment according to our calendar below AND check your junk folder if you do not receive email confirmation. Do also note that we operate strictly by appointment only and we do not entertain walk-in clients.
